For the love of doors. Another favourite picture from that trip. ~
Revisiting Kerala through series of pictures I shot 5 years ago with mobile phone, with zero knowledge about composition & whatnot, during the insta age where everything is about fitting into square and applying their rogue filters. ~
Now they became memories with a hint of detachment. Some pictures that felt insta unworthy then, looks beautiful now. I hope revisiting helps me to understand this process of how an unlikable image turned into a likable one, whether the method of looking has changed, whether the kind of images I've been mindlessly scrolling has its effects on my choice of colours & frames? Also, If I go to the same place now, would I take same kind of pictures? I'll definitely go there and test it myself soon.
Normally, I would just say to myself, while I am scrolling down through pictures to post in insta that; "Okay, here's a good picture to post" but I dont try to put in words about what I like and why I liked what I like in a picture. This time I will put in words about why's & what's, which would be a learning process for me.
